Client Challenge: The client planned to retrofit a filler for 32-ounce yogurt containers from a mechanical system to an electrical servo controlled system. The system was old and needed an upgrade, and the controls were obsolete.
Ambassador’s Solutions: Ambassador provided a complete audit of the existing machine and its connections. We also supplied a modern set of drawings created in AutoCAD Electrical, replacing the old controls with new equipment from Rockwell Automation including ControlLogix PAC, associated I/O and a Kinetix servo system for the new motion controls. The company worked in collaboration with mechanical designers to calculate optimal machine efficiency and cycle time.
